Strategic Community Entrepreneurial Project (SCEP)

LOWBIC has a great program staring up in November, geared towards youth, aged 15-29. The program is called Strategic Community Entrepreneurial Project and is set up to help those that are currently part time students or those not in school that would like to start up their own business.

In a series of 4 workshops, over 25 weeks, we will work with individuals that need some guidance in starting up their own business. The workshops will cover a wide variety of topics, with a big focus on how to create their business plan, as well as how to implement the plan once it has been created.

After attending these workshops, participants will have the opportunity to receive grants up to $3,000, to help offset some of the costs involved with starting up a business. This project is open to the region, covering Kenora, Red Lake, Dryden, Fort Frances, Rainy River and everywhere in between! Please contact our office at 467-4641 if you, or anyone you know, might find this program beneficial!
